FSCS

UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Eligible deposits up to £85,000 per person per authorised firm.

FSCS covers eligible deposits at authorised UK banks and building societies, and some investment-firm claims under different limits. E-money is outside the deposit scheme. Always match the authorised firm on your statement to the FSCS register.
